
ABOUT
Vicky has been studying and performing the flute and piano for more than 25 years. She obtained a Master of Arts in Music Performance from the Royal Academy of Music in London. Vicky was the principal flautist of the London Graduate Orchestra from 2013 to 2014.
She has been playing for weddings and other events for 10 years as a flautist and pianist both as a soloist and as a member of duos, trios and quartets. In 2013 she won the highly commended prize at the Jonathan Myall Piccolo Prize in London and in 2008 won first prize at the National Flute Competition of Taiwan. She also held the position of principal flautist of the South East London Orchestra, the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra and the Barnet Symphony Orchestra.
She has performed in various venues and concert halls such as Royal Opera House, Kensington Palace, Royal Academy of Music, St John's Smith Square, Kings Place, St James Piccadilly, Tower Hill, the Royal College of Arts and The Place. She has made several guest appearances as a soloist at events, most notably at the 2010 National Gala for Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in London.
